Privacy policy
Effective 30 September 2026
Liora is an app for creative freelancers to share work with clients, collect revision notes, and agree on extra work. It is made by Alacrity, an independent developer. This policy explains what Liora keeps, why, where, and how you delete it. Questions: ialacritydev@gmail.com.
The short version
- Liora keeps your projects so you can work on them and get them back on a new phone.
- A client sees only what you share with them through a review link.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and nothing is sold.
- You can delete your account and everything with it from Settings.
What Liora keeps
Your account. When you sign in with Google, Liora receives your name, email address and a user ID from Google. When you sign in with email, it keeps your email address and a user ID; your password is handled by Firebase Authentication and never seen by Liora.
Your projects. Clients you add (name, reviewer's name, optional email, and an optional photo you pick for them, kept small and shown only to you), projects and their agreements (scope, price, currency, dates, revision rounds), versions, notes, additions and activity, and your settings such as your studio name, reply-to email, look, language and reminders. These are saved on your phone and backed up to your account.
Review links. When you share a version, Liora publishes what the client needs to review it: your studio name, the client's name, the project title, your note, the agreement, pending additions, a link to your full files if you add one, and web-sized previews of the images or PDF pages you choose. When you deliver, it publishes the link to the final files and your note.
Your client's answers. On a review link, your client can approve, send notes (optionally pinned to a spot on a preview), answer additions, and confirm they have the final files. Those answers are stored with the link and brought into your projects.
Liora doesn't use your contacts, location, microphone or camera. Previews are made on your phone from files you pick.
Why
Only to provide Liora: to sign you in, back up your projects, and show your clients the review links you send them. For people in the EU and UK, the legal basis is performing our agreement with you (the Terms). You decide what you share about your clients, and you are responsible for having a reason to share it with them through Liora.
Where it's kept, and who processes it
Liora runs on Google Firebase: Authentication for sign-in, Cloud Firestore for backups and review links (stored in Google's European multi-region), and Hosting for the review pages. Google processes this data on Liora's behalf under the Firebase data processing terms. Review pages load the Manrope font from Google Fonts, which receives the visitor's IP address. Liora uses no other services.
Who can see what
- Your backup can be read only by your signed-in account.
- A review link can be opened by anyone who has it. Each link contains a random 128-bit secret, links can't be listed or searched, and review pages are marked not to be indexed. Share links only with the people they're for.
- Liora's developer doesn't read your projects except when you ask for help and share them, or when the law requires it.
How long it's kept
- Your projects and backup: until you delete them or your account.
- A review link: until you delete its project or your account. Deleting a project takes down all of its links and previews.
- Signing out keeps your backup so you can sign back in. It clears the projects from that phone.
Deleting your account
In the app, open Settings → Delete account. Liora takes down every review link you made, deletes your backup, and deletes your account. This can't be undone. If you can't use the app, email ialacritydev@gmail.com from your account's email address and we'll delete it within 30 days.
Your rights
You can see and correct your data in the app, export it by asking us, and delete it as described above. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email us.
Children
Liora is a work tool and isn't meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change applies. The date at the top shows the current version.
